1953 new world society assembly of jehovah's witnesses. Worship jehovah in holy array psalms 292 (as). Yankee stadium. July 19-26, 1953. This woven cloth ribbon book marker (may be maed of woven rayon, feels like silk) is 2 inches wide and 7 inches long is a souvenir from this assembly. It was givne as a gift at my mother's baptism at this convention.
We do not know if was provided by the watchtower society or an outside vendor. The first photo is the front and the second photo is the back, showing the weave.
It has no rips and is in very nice condition for all these years. There are some water marks on it. We have not cleaned it in any way.
It has been used as a book marker all these years. I think this is a very unusual item and have not seen ayn other like it.
