This is a very large, heavy thick guage brass jug measuring approx. 14 tall by 7 3/4 across the base, the brass its made with is about 2.25mm thick! And it weighs 2.5 kilos, it's engraved on the front fo the jug 'the gift of florence firth to st paul's church 1949' i think it would have been a baptistery font jug, it has religious signs/symbols on either side, the handle and general shape of the jug has a destinctive gothic look about it, the handle is missing one little bobble or spherical nut, this could be replaced with a standard nut, although i don't think it necessary as its pretty solid as it is with the other two.
This is a big heavy brass jug so overseas postage will be expensive. I'm not sure wether this jug was made in 1949 or just engraved then, it could quite possibly be a lot earlier.
